I like the windshields cranked out, but only if stopped or on a nice flat road. Otherwise I worry about damaging something. If I'm not going fast I'll open it pretty wide. However, the wind noise hurts my hears if I go pretty fast but I "adjust it" to where I can stand it. I have found that running with the windows up and windshield open keeps the temperature down better than with the windown down.
