Can you advise me regarding the source of a reprint manual for a 1946 GMC 1/2 ton .

Keep in mind during your search your Canadian GMC has a Chevrolet engine. A US GMC manual won't have anything about your engine.

That is an interesting tip cletis.

I didn't know that about the Canadian GMC's.

For manuals... check the ones closest to you that sells parts for your truck.

The Links section can help you out here.

Most of the bigger vendors sell the manual reprints if they sell parts for your year and model truck.

As it happens this truck is coming to me without an engine or transmission . Thats what I was looking for . I have a 4.3 litre V6 and a T5 ,the V6 will be running a carb.
No EFI for me unless its new and under warranty . Sorrry getting off topic I like paper manuals in the shop , I will look on Ebay

Canadian GMC's also had a wooden bed floor, as opposed to steel for the American made ones. The tailgate of American trucks also had the GMC stamping.
