It very complete and made in the USA. The instructions are complete and in color. The guys there are Chevy guys and started making Camaro kits years ago. Keep in mind the higer price is because it comes with everything including the headlamp grommets and connectors. The fuse panel is a modern panel and does not use the stock fuse box.
If you want a more orignal look especially under the hood look at the Carter kit. What are the features of the American Autowire set that you would like in your 1949 Suburban?
There are less expensive quality sets available (such as Jim Carter's). But JC's and Classic Part's sets do to have many circuits more than an original-circuits set.

Thy have everything that is needed to work in a standard equipped truck. They do not have a fuse box (you use your own original one, usually). The American Autowire kit is an upgrade kit - not just a wiring harness. It provides much more than "everything you need all the plugs and light sockets etc". Different harnesses would be used in different 47-55 years.
