For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 8 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2012 Posts: 8 | Hello all. I am new and need lots of help. I have aquired a 57 chevy 6400. The body is in great shape. Original 283 runs. Been reading night mares here on finding wheels. Already found 22.5 inch wheels. Need front end parts, leaf spring bushings and tie rod ends and maybe king pins. Where do you find parts for these trucks? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | Hi Chuck, firstly welcome to the Stovebolt. I see this is your first post, take time to look around the site, there's a forum specifically for 'Big Bolts.' Post any questions you have regarding your truck in the appropriate sections and the guys will soon chime in with the info. Good luck with your new aquisition. This is the place to be if your working on old stovebolts!
(for your model year I'd always check the local guys. There is quite a bit you can get over the counter or overnight without paying shipping. Give Napa and others a shot. I'm sure the guys over in the Big Bolt forum will be glad to help you out) | | |
