Hi guys. I thought I should join in and keep track of progress also.

Today I put the battery in. http://kens46truck.wordpress.com/2012/04/29/how-married-men-install-a-battery-in-an-old-truck/

I managed to dump most of the gas out of the tank so that's done now. It's nice to get that over with because the fuel smelled horrible. Once it varishes man does it smell. Here is the link to the blog article and photos. http://kens46truck.wordpress.com/2012/05/01/time-to-dump-the-fuel/

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Mike,

That's a nice ride and funny you should mention MMO as I have used this stuff for years and it always meets expectations.

Good luck on your project as it helps me along and I appreciate your take on the wife's position on things. Us old guys are still learning.

Ken
