Aren't the rear drums and the front drums the same drum? I found a hell of a deal on rear drums at Auto Zone, but they don't sell front drums. See where I'm coming from? All my other sources show a different part # for front and rear drums. I thought they were the same drum.

It should take a little effort to change them, but I believe the actual drum is the same item.

The front drums would have the wheel studs whereas the rear would be flat as the studs are in the axle. At least I think they are. | | |
