However it came with 2 large metal washers about 1.5 inches in diameter and not sure what its purpose. Also can someone explain the shackle with installation method. I have a factory book which calls for .760 clearance between the floor panel and truck frame. any help is appreciated

If you have not removed them the original shims will be there so you can see how they were arranged. Measure from the frame to the bottom of the cab in back you just need it level there once everything is tightened down. http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2235943390102454676FUuGUvShims can be on frame or cab bottom I have seen trucks with 6 and trucks with none. Lock plates go inside cab behind seat pan. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 | I tried to make the shimming easier by cutting wood blocks slightly thicker than the specified clearance. I could then easily determine how many shims to use, get the bolts started loosely, and then lifted the cab enough to slip my wood block out. Worked good for me.
