No difference. I think you want a set of solid wires as opposed to carbon core or resistor wires (?). If you have a radio in the truck you actually listen to, wire type might be a consideration.

Metal-core wires create problems such as contact erosion inside the distributor cap, burning of the rotor tip, and more rapid spark plug electrode wear. They also create radio-frequency interference, but it's usually only evident if you're listening to the AM radio. The resistance wire is actually a graphite-impregnated piece of nylon string. Maximum resistance value of the supressor wire is 1,000 ohms per inch. Jerry
