There are two connection posts on the back. Is it correct to say that the red (hot) wire from the motor should go to the terminal that has what looks like a fuze with a wire wraped around it, or does hot go to the stand alone post? Then the black (ground) would go to the other one. Naturally a hot from ignition sw. goes in the same place as hot from motor. Right? Thanks

Black wire coming off motor just goes to a seperate ground then. 10-4 thanks again, I just didn't want to burn up new parts!!!!

But that is normal. And as far as "looks like a fuze with a wire wraped around it" don't let ANYTHING touch the "spring" as it will get super hot, fingers, wires......that kind of thing
