It was very user friendly, had everything needed, and fit just right. I ordered it for a 6 volt system even though I knew I would be running a 12v generator system. I think the wires gauge is okay for 12v but it seems small to me to use in a stock 6v system.

I did my own and I am no wiring expert. I followed the schematic in the shop manual and replaced one wire at a time. If you are 12 volt the wire gauge on the schematic is fine. You need a good crimping tool and do a pull test of each connector once its crimped.
Having said that the most difficult part for me is under the dash. Basically because of location. However even with an aftermarket kit you still have to access it. | | |
