If its the windshield frame I believe you can buy what you need seperate at Chev's of the 40's....maybe others? Its about a 2" long piece of metal "bar" and it has the threaded holes in it for the screws that go through the inside of the frame.

Its the Filling Station an it should be about the 5 or 6 item down. I think they called it windshield frame BRACKETS.
Hope this is it. Let me know.
Edit: I don't know why the link didn't highlight in blue but if you go to the web site the part number is FS78 and the brackets are $20 for the pair.
