| | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 687 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 687 | Flywheel off a 235 motor. Shipping about 200 miles. It's almost 14 inches in diameter. Not sure of the weight, but think it's more then 20lbs which is the limit on the USPS flat rate boxes.
Any ideas?

Get ready for some sticker shock. I shipped a bellhousing UPS, and the price "impressed" me. Of course, it was packed in a wooden box headed for an overseas shipment. If Greyhound runs through your destination, that's the least expensive way to do it.

One thing good about USPS is mail moves 24/7 and it get delivered on Sat. Hard part is the proper packaging but maybe your local FLAPS can give you ideas on that.

....Jerry, it really depends on THE Greyhound terminal. Locally, about a year ago, they would NOT ship a door for me from my location....AND, just a month ago Greyhound wanted $75 to ship a set of running boards for a 37 chevy pickup.
