Well with all this warm weather here in Arkansas I now have my top painted white. THe interior is next cant wait. Also I am going to replace boards in the bed floor do I have to have the bed off or can I do this with the bed on?

Not that it makes big difference, but what year is your truck? Fleet or step side?

The bed wood can be replaced with the bed, still on the frame.

The truck is a 65 fleetside swb

Thanks for the pictures My idea was to move the bed back a few feet then paint the back of the cab and the front of the bed then put the bed back and replace the floor with it on the truck. I only have so much room in my shop or I would take the bed completely off

Hate to admit how mine was done. My 62 had a steel bed and I had to cut a hole in it for the differental to go thru when the truck was drppped the max thru the notched frame. Ibuilt the new floor out of the truck making it 2 inched higher to fix the diff. hole. I then just slid it in and bolted it down with 4 bolts. If I want to refinish it I will just take it back out. No one has noticed the bead being a little higher. It looks perfect if I do say so
