I was watching the movie "It's a mad, mad, mad.....world" the other day and noticed a truck with a canopy driving down the highway. I believe this movie was made around 1964. When did truck canopy's come about?

Not sure when they first started fitting them on trucks, but surely the "Prairie Schooner" was the inspiration.

Early hot rodding John, all you would need to do there is put the two oxen out to pasture and drop in a Stovebolt Six.
