It's a 34K mile survivor so it won't be getting a new paint job anytime soon, just a buffing. Nice job Scott. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | yes on the brakes...the whole system was shot so it got a safety upgrade. I put a 70 C20 drum/drum master on it and split the system under the engine and beside crossmember.
The wheels are factory 16" with simulators over them...soon to be replaced by Alcoa's.
I pulled the engine out and completely disassembled it, cleaned and properly resealed it. It still had the factory tune parts from 1966 so it got it all. She runs like it did in 1966 now.
Thanks for all the compliments, it will be at the September show in Kansas City this fall (with several others I'm sure) along with my next project.

Nice job Scott. Well, I figured it was Chevy stuff... but it looks a little different than the '69 dual master cylinder in my '65 c10. It's always nice to know what else works and fits.  -W | | |
