This way you can get a sense of accomplishment throughout the process. Start going to local car shows, introduce yourself to as many people who are knowledgeable or have the type of truck you like. My experience is that as soon as you can get it ready for body work the better, as that is what has taken the longest and has cost the most money.... Good Luck, don't lose the faith. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | Welcome to the Stovebolt TaylorRollins. The first thing you will need is a shop manual or you can read one online. Take it slow, write down your plans (less costly at the end) and make sore to read some of the other forums! | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,217 Moderator | | Moderator Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,217 | Welcome Taylor, the tip for dis-assembly is to take pictures and label everything, even if it seems obvious what it's for. I re-assembled stuff 4 years after tearing it apart. Good luck.
