Need help again...

We disassembled the 1957 axle and found all the bearings were Hyatt brand in various sizes.

I have searched the net for about 3 hours with no luck, trying to locate the right bearings to replace my Hyatt or1502 rear wheel bearings. The axle diameters at the bearing surface are around 1.88 inches. All of the searches I have done so far for replacement bearings have resulted in listings for bearings that are around 1.3 inches (Bore size).

Anyone else run into this issue? My original bearings were about 2.77 OD.

Any # on the bearing? If there is go to a FLAPS and they should be able to match them,by the # or by app.

you should be able to go to NAPA and give them the application and get the right rear axle bearings, and if you give them the Hyatt OR1502 number they should be able to cross it - that is not OEM, which should be NATIONAL Part #RW607NR

Hy Fourbrads, the O.E.M. for 1957 1/2 ton rear axle/wheel bearings is 111121 which is Hyatt p/n C1502, outer race and rollers, same p/n for SKF, for Bower p/n R1502EL, hope that helps.

Just by pure stubbornness, I started seeing the R1502ELs and the like with similar ID and OD numbers, but you can never be sure. I'll go to NAPA soon and double-check.
