The PO replaced the engine in my 53 Burb with a 54 235. I rebuilt the carb last weekend and noticed someone had hogged out the bolt holes in the carb base. I just assumed they put the carb from the 216 on the 235, then it dawned on me that they had used the manifolds off the 216, and the carb for a 235. Now I'm wondering about if the head is wrong? The casting # is 3835913, can someone ID it for me? Thanks

Just looked over on Inliners.org and see 3835913 for that head. May want to take another look.
Good luck
Jim

google the casting number and it will show that it is from a 1954-55 235.

Here are locations of casting codes. The date casting codes will help to ID the head and the block.
