I was just wondering if on a '66 fleetside if the steering shaft will separate from the column up near the firewall. I don't see where. I have it separated from the gearbox at the leather coupling area, but do I have to pull the steering wheel with the shaft attached all out?
thanks for any help.

Are you wanting to remove the column? If so, then the whole shaft has to come out with it. I think that the rag joint is the only separation point on those.

From the ragjoint to the steering wheel is one solid shaft,

Thanks. That's the way I will remove it.
