How much of the floors sheet metal can you remove and still maintain the integrity of the cab? I purchased a right and left new floor.

Some left and right patch panels go from the front of the seat frame to approx. 6 inches up the angled surface headed to the firewall. Neither goes as far as any corner. Rocker side edge yes, but not a 'CORNER". That is where the strength would be, in the corners. If u are messin with any more than 1 corner at a time. I would do some bracing first.
