Found this today.
Unadvertised, happened to see it through the trees on a local farm.

Guys says scrap value is about $500 and that is where it is going in two weeks.

Or... should I drag it home?

Here are two picture links:

I don't think I could resist that for $500. I'm kind of a sucker for stuff like that.

I love your COE. There is a big 8 ton COE near me, that I would dearly love, but I have no money, nor a tall enough carport!

Save it! Even if you don't do anything to it someone else might want it and the price seems reasonable.

Take her home! Even if you don't have a use for a truck that size, Fix her up and put a roll back bed on it. Set up with that it would sell fast at a car show.

Or... I'm thinking of putting an extra flatbed I have on it and using it at my brewery for an outdoor stage for bands.

(?)

*I think he will take less than $500, too.

I do not have any use for, or have the room for, the big trucks. But this is a nice looking truck with lots of potential. I applaud you for keeping it from going to the crusher.

I would snag it before it's too late. I bought its twin sister a few months ago for $600. I don't have room or a need for a big truck either but if I ever have time to work on it I'm planning to put it on a later model 3/4 ton frame with a flatbed.I'm partial to the 41-46 trucks because we had a '46 2 ton grain truck when I was a kid. Don't let it get to the scrapper.

Thanks all.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts.

I'd hate to see it get crushed.

I'll save it.

Oh boy! Grab it while you can then sell it later if you have to. I hate to think of all the deals I've missed and found out later they went to China.

Stovebolts are like puppys. Can't watch em get put down just because they don't have a home. I'd love to have a ranch to take them all too with plenty of room to let them run free, backfire and chase fords to their hearts content.

A good looking truck and one that seem to have most of its sheet
metal. The grill isn't too bad either. You could buy it and turn it into a tow truck. Wouldn't that look cool to see an old truck towing a new BMW. lol

a local guy is actually putting one of these cabs on a 93 halfton frame right now. just a rat rod thing to him but it actually fit pretty good. hes using as much of the 93 as possible. including the 4.3 v-6 fuel injected, steering dash i mean everything. hes going to put a longbed on it. i think it will turn out to be a good driver for him. hes been working on it for a few months and the last time i stopped by he was close to giving it a test drive. i think its cool anyway.
