I've gotten as far as removing all the screws in the panel and the arm rest, but I can't find the pin or screw on the shafts of the handles. I have an idea as to what it might be, but I can't find a way to pull them out. If money is tight do you know someone at a local shop that the guy may have one in his tool box your can borrow?? I wasn't aware that dealers even had tools anymore.  I'll keep that in mind. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,403 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,403 | On a recent trip with a buddy to the parts store for his F*$d, I was looking in the "help" section of the store and just happened to see the tool, and it was $5. So, I decided to buy that along with a speedometer cable for the '54. Came home, got the handles off, sprayed lots of penetrating oil on everything and scraped out the slides with a pocket knife. It seems that over the 20+ years the window hadn't been used the stuff that lines the slides, or some sort of sealant, had collected and was keeping the window from rolling down. The gears had also rusted significantly on their pivot points. But I got 'er done and it rolls down really easily.
