In October 2010 I bought my first vintage vehicle, a 1941 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup with a non-factory flatbed. I've been working on the truck for the past 13 months, and today I reached a milestone. Except for the bed, which I've not yet started on, the truck is now finished. Here are some photos.

I still have to get some good tires and mount them on the nice newly painted artillery wheels that I have (not the ones in the pictures). I've just bought some new bed parts from Mar-K. I have used bed sides and rear fenders that need work, and I'll start on that tomorrow.

It's gratifying to stand back and see all the work that has been accomplished so far. Thanks to all those on the forum who have helped me get to this point.

Wow, look at that nice shiny truck! Great job! Looks like you have another under the cover to work on as well.

Can't wait to see your truck with the bed on. Have fun.......

Very nice indeed. Put a repro bed with matching green paint - awesome.

Big Chevy didnt say it like he normally does, but he will soon , so on his behalf, let's see some interior pics!!

And what's that I see under the shelter??? A '40?

Thanks for the nice comments guys. And yes, that's a '40 waiting in the wings to be next. I'm building the '41 for my #1 son and the '40 will be for my #2 son.
