That might seem fine, but the truck doesn't move an inch. The clutch doesn't make a difference either way. Nothing engages. I'm trying to troubleshoot where the problem is - clutch or trans? Any thoughts? | | |

Is there any movement or sound? May have snapped the input shaft off at the trans housing,

Did the trans work before? I would wonder if not - if this is your first try with it. Maybe the folks are not in the top of the shifter and your just going through the motions, not moveing the gears - just the shifter, just a guess, good luck . | | |

The clutch pedal and rod moves the clutch arm okay - I can see it with the housing bottom removed. If anything it's not disengaging the clutch enough. Don't know if trans worked before - new project. I wonder if the shifter is really moving the trans gears - but that's a pretty direct connection isn't it? I'll give it another test tomorrow. Thanks, | | |
