Previous experience include a 70 VW Bug, 66 Mustang and a 60 MGA, but none as extensive as this one will be. On the other hand, I never dreamed about and researched car for as long as these beautiful old '46 Chevy trucks!

I do believe there is a place in Jersey, or maybe it was Ma. that has old truck parts. Does Roberts Motor Parts ring a bell?
Look at the bottom left of the page and you can click on the image posting policy. Basically you post your pictures to a host site like Flickr or Photobucket and then just provide a link to them here when you post. You will not believe how helpful this site will be for your project. I also have a '46 - a 6400 - and without this crew I would have made far less progress than I have on bringing it back to life. It, too, has a frozen motor, but not for long with all the help here. So, from across the country in Oregon - Welcome! If you need help posting pics let me know. Happy to help.

I did see a truck like your up at Browns junk yard. Its on 138 going west not far of 23,on the right. You can see it from the road. There used to be a place on the Pa. line, I think Middle town rd. off 83 called Mellons. More A.D.and older trucks and cars than I;ve seen any where. Good luck with yours. I always liked those years of trucks. Might be my next one. This is a great sight. | | |
