Can't be critical of a 283 either, good old engines. Good luck.

I am thinking about painting the truck a 1965 chevy light blue with a white top. Most of the other work is done except the paint and body work. What do you guys think about this color combo. Also the grill and bumpers will also be white to match the top | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | That is a great choice. One of the Southern STovebolters have one like that and its nice. I worked at the Chevy dealership in 65/66 and that combo was and has always been my favorite. Another bolter, 4-5-6Chevy has a nice napco painted like that. Its a cool clean looking color. Go for it. | | |
