I've been browsing around the website for some time, but now that I have myself an old truck, I figured it's time to officially join. I picked up a nice 1949 GMC 1 Ton, which is running and in very decent shape. The pics can be found here: Greg's '49 GMC 250 1 Ton I want to thank all the members and site admins for providing such a wealth of knowledge. This site really helped me decide if I should buy the truck or not. I was wondering if it would be impossible to find parts/info for that truck, but after hunting around here I realized that would not be a problem! It currently has a farm rack body that is rotting away. I have started pulling it apart to make way for some nice POR-15 and new wood. Also, I'm an IT engineer in my day job, so I'd be happy to help out with the site or IT issues. Thanks, Greg 1949 GMC FC253 - 1 Ton Dually 1966 Buick Wildcat Convertible
