Can a not so straight axle be straightened? I have heard of some old school alignment guys bending the axle to fix alignment, you guy have any experience regarding this? Originally thought about a mustang II ifs, but thought I'd save some money and use the stock front end, so I already have new shocks, springs and sway bar. (Hard to go back to plan A) Any thoughts would be helpful. Bending yours would be no problem, but getting it straight would be difficult because it would probably be S shaped at the bend. Put an ad in the swap meet section. Lots of old axle beams are scrapped from parts vehicle. Yes, that can be straightened, but getting all the angles back to spec would be hard. crenwelge is right on, camber was/is set on beam axles by bending, even in model T days. Find another axle, lots less grief! Good luck.
