What is the white container on the lefthand side of the photo?

What was it used for?

That is what I thought. But when I was squinting, trying to read the label, it says "Overflow Condenser", *Caution* . which lead me to believe it was for something else..like for the cooling system.

yeap you're right
see the heavy hose at the rad cap and the cap is different than a normal cap. it allows water to pass thru the tube to the overflow

good catch Niagara

I don't understand the purpose of that device. A little 216 operates at such low pressures.

I figure it does nothing...it is just a fellow who is an "accessories junkie" and had to install it in his truck.

Perhaps the resident experts will chime in and share some knowledge about the operation of the item.... I sure hope so!

It's just to catch what would normally burp out of the overflow tube and prevent messing up his pretty paint job,

Thanks Tim.

Do you happen to know what model years these units were available?
