Kinda looks like you have 19.5 wheels, like I had on my '50 GMC 1 ton pickup. | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 27 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 27 | Thanks spanky. They're the stock 17" wheels with new tires. The dually in the background has 18" wheels. Not looking forward to buying 6 tires for those. | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 59 | Thats very nice! i hope mine looks that good when i finish my 53.. I couldn't find repro ones anywhere. But, later after I had these rechromed, I think I saw them available at Jim Carter. I spent way too much money having those rechromed, but they're probably the prettiest 3800 emblems on the planet. | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 59 | Yeah they threw me for a loop at first too.. i thought i had lucked up.. Its never that easy! That truck is great. I'm going to pick one up this week with a running 248 GMC under the hood. '47 3800. I don't know if I'll keep the stock rims or not, I do have a full set. | | |
