I put a reproduction hand throttle in my '53 3600. I think I have it hooked up correctly, but am not sure. If I tug really hard on the knob it will pull out, but sometimes it refuses to move.

Should the knob be fairy easy to move? I went so far as to take the return spring off the throttle linkage and it didn't help.

Heres a picture of how I have it hooked up, but this look right?

Looks right to me. Does the cable work easily if not hooked up? Many I've had you had to set the desired engine speed with the foot pedal and then pull the throttle out till it got hard which was where the lever on the carb was already positioned with the foot pedal.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
