Then pull the lock out of your door, record the code number off the housing and have a new key cut. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . For it to run (and all the lights to work) connect together all the wires on the back of the ignition switch. Note that this hot wire method works because the starter is not a function of the key switch.

There are plenty of threads on this forum about seized engines. Do a search and get ready to do some reading. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 7 | My grandpa found the cylinder that was on the compressoin stroke and hooked up an air hose connector to a pipe fitting the same size as the spark plug threads (drilled out an old plug and brazed the fitting on it)hooked it to the air compressor and it turned the engine backwards until air came out the intake. Then diesel and oil in each cylinder and slowly worked it til it turned over very easy without any plugs in it.
I may be young but I'm willing to try and learn, which is better than being old and thinking you know it all... I'm looking in your direction dad.

To turn it over, or attempt to, you can pry on the ring gear when necessary. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 445 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 445 | use Kroil penatrating oil in the cyclinders if no work you have trouble.breake fluid works also.how long has it been setting???.where .Hot Wire ,one wire form ign side of coil to positive battery post.thats it.ready to start
