I got a 1951 Chevy Canopy Express, 235 w/ 4 speed, when i start the truck in nutral the truck moves forward while starting and it doesnt roll very good when i have the clutch pushed in with it in gear, like there is a big drag. I just got the truck running after 8 years or so of sitting in a field.

Any ideas?

Take the inspection cover off and get someone to push in the clutch and gently pry the disc loose from the flywheel.

I unstuck the clutch on my 55 after sittin for years by starting it in gear with the pedal pushed... Instant freedom.

Put it up against a strong cement wall. rev it up and let the clutch out slowly and try to break it loose by burning the clutch a bit. Check all adjustments.
