For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 91 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2011 Posts: 91 | Good Morning Vietnam! I just love that line. Anyway, I just purchased this 41 Chevy for $600. It had been sitting on a ranch outside of Paso Robles Ca. all that time. The original 235 is froze, every nut and bolt is rusted, and the wiring is shot. Should be driving it in about a week. In the early 80's I had found a 46 chevy on a ranch in Washington State and drove it for 5 years. Since then, I have always wanted another one. I have diesel fuel in the crankcase and cylinders hoping I can free up and use this motor. The odometer reads 78000. Wish me luck, ~m | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 164 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 164 | Welcome to the Stove Bolt Fletch, Good Luck with your truck. Sound like you gotta a lot of work ahead of you. Do you have any pics yet? Keep us posted

I've always liked that style of truck. I grew up with a 46 1 ton pickup.
