Good Morning Vietnam!

I just love that line. Anyway, I just purchased this 41 Chevy for $600. It had been sitting on a ranch outside of Paso Robles Ca. all that time. The original 235 is froze, every nut and bolt is rusted, and the wiring is shot. Should be driving it in about a week. wink

In the early 80's I had found a 46 chevy on a ranch in Washington State and drove it for 5 years. Since then, I have always wanted another one. I have diesel fuel in the crankcase and cylinders hoping I can free up and use this motor. The odometer reads 78000.

Wish me luck, ~m

Hi Marc, welcome! Hopefully the motor will free up for you. Good luck with all the rusty bolts too.

Welcome to Stovebolt! Love your truck! Looks like you got the wife to help. It won't take long. I still miss the 45 we sold. Looked just about the same as yours. You saved another old Chevy. Good for you! Good Luck!

Welcome to the Bolt! I've always liked that style of truck. I grew up with a 46 1 ton pickup.

We'll look forward to the pictures of you driving it next week! dance grin
