Which one is better to heat the intake??? Take your pick! Too each his own!!!! Hope this helps and BTW....yes....if you want your engine to run efficiently, you will heat your intake!!

#74223 03/04/2007 2:07 AM | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | A little tip to help prevent leaks on the manifold-Replace the manifold bolts with studs, along with the 2 outside alignment studs for either studs or bolts, and replace the oe clamps with heavier parts to allow for better clamping force. I made new clamps out of 1/4" stainless steel. I have had no leaks since.

It sure would make it easier to get everything started..would support the headers...slide the intake on the rings...you could even have the oem clamps in place.
Great idea! I'm changing out to my rebuilt engine Tuesday...will give it a shot and report back! Thanks for the tip Bill!!
