Are you looking for more top end? better acceleration.....? And, are you running a V-8, 235, 216, and then there's the trans, is it the stock 3-speed, 4-speed, overdrive, auto???? Do you know what ratio your rear gear is now? All of these things will play into the mix in determining what you want to do with your rear end gearing. | | |

It contains the bushing, bearings, seals, and gaskets that will most likely be required. | | |

At 65 my knckles were white and the truck was all over the road. When I switched to radials the ride and handling at 65 was what I dreamed it could be. | | |

1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. Now with a '61 261, 848 head, Rochester Monojet carb, SM420 4-speed, 4.10 rear, dual reservoir MC, Bendix up front, 235/85R16 tires, 12-volt w/alternator, electric wipers and a modern radio in the glove box.

Most of the "Catalog" stores order these kits from Patrick's. Also, I agree that you should go ahead and purchase the whole rebuild kit rather than just the gears - do it right the first time, unless there's time to do it again.
