Its been leakn alot of oil and i finally replaced the intake manifold gasket. so now i stopped that leak but now its still leakin but looks like in the back. Doesnt look like its leakin at the oil pan..Looks to be on the right side somewhere. Anyone know wat it might be comin from? I am a youngster and man i dont want to have to take it to a shop. I like to accomplish workin on my ride with the help of some stovebolter that got alot more knowledge then me

First 3 places I'd look would be valve covers, oil sending unit, and your fuel pump.

I got some cheap used aluminum covers at a swap meet that permanently fix that oil leak on mine,

#72345 01/28/2007 5:55 AM | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 187 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 187 | Add on to 48bigtrucks....go with rubber valve cover gaskets and put a thin film of Blue Permatex on the CLEAN surface of the head and valve cover. Allow to tack for 10 minutes, then install. This method has never done me wrong. Just be careful not to overtighten the bolts. | | |
