This is definately taking advantage of my position as moderator but thought you might like to see my new shop building though it really doesn't fit in this forum.

Your shop looks larger than my house...what a beauty. The old snag is pretty dramatic too.

Congrats - Is the higher end door for 3 axle trucks? Ha Ha I worked in a shop laid out similar & the end stall there was the paint booth. Doug

that is a nice'un. Can't tell but is the ceiling height higher on one side??...for a lift. Thats teh one thing I hated I didn't do. Although I have a 10'ceiling I wish I had made it 15/16 so I could get a lift in it. I'm getting to old to be crawling up and down. Oh, I like it up on the hill like it is.

It has a 12' eave height and the doors are 10' & 12' high. I made the longer part for a motorhome if I ever go that way again. If not it will be a 40' paint booth. Inside is a 15'x30' office with full bath & kitchenette (coffee bar). This will be where a lot of my retirement will be spent so I sort of went overboard.

Thanks for the kudo's.
ps. now my wife wants a hobby shop so thats next. grin

I hate to be critical of such a nice looking building, but I can see one very noticable and possibly problematic thing about your shop.....IT'S NOT BIG ENOUGH. grin Seriously, very nice, I like the layout. Need interior photos.

Great looking shop Dave! When you notice a car driving back and forth in front of your property......that's going to be the Tax Assessor working up your new tax bill, and trying to figure out how the county is going to spend this new windfall!!!!

Aaaahhh....the price of progress! A new shop....priceless!!!
