Having some issues matching the old ones, so I'm leaning towards them not being OEM.

What issues are you having?
On 1/2 ton trucks the rear cylinders are the same on both sides (the front cylinders are different on each side).

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Basically both the rear wheel cylinders are different makes. One has the port angled to accept the brake line. The other has the port in the center which connects through a banjo bolt. The Jim Carter wheel cylinder part number ME323/14997 does not accept the banjo bolt, it bottoms out. Looks like I will piece a couple together and make the brake lines fit. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 7 | I just did all four of my wheel cylinders, all the lines & hoses were straight shots into the wheel cylinders, rears were both banjo's, both fronts were the same, no left or rights, although mine is a '49 3100. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 334 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2005 Posts: 334 | It sounds like you may have one wheel cylinder for a 55.1 and one wheel cylinder for a 55.2 The 55.2's have the port angled, while the 55.1 is centered and not angled. At least one of them should have them. Try Advance Auto.
