They were called service stations. They also checked the air in your tires, the level of your oil and washed your windshield for free while they were pumping gasoline for you. A real service station, not a convenience store. Their gas is a nickle higher than the self service places to pay the extra help. Many of the senior citizens fill up there.

I "think" it is ok. Have a tester in Lee's Summit, truck in Booneville at father in laws. What does a 6 cylinder crate engine cost?

If it gets colder than that in Tennessee, I'll go visit my friend in New Zealand- - - - - -it's summertime there, he's got a 1924 Dodge truck, and he wants me to build a spare engine for it!

Stick your finger in it. If it's not froze you are good to go. If the hoses are pulled off with a column of ice between the hose & radiator you are in trouble.
