I took the doors out of my 51 1/2 truck to replace the hinges which I rebuilt...everything so far is coming as plan but I made the mistake of not marking the bolts...there are two different lengths. Can any one tell me what is the sequence of the bolts, which lenght bolt goes where?

May I suggest that if you need to put weather stripping on the doors do it before you put the doors on.

There are two different lenghts but can figure out where each goes. I'm guessing but the long ones probably do into the door pillow and the short ones go in the door itself?? If the thread on the bolt goes all the way though the nut, that fastener is as strong as it'll ever be. Just put the bolts in positions where there is thread showing on the back side and you should be good to go. I'm not familiar with the inner workings of the AD door so if you can't "see" the back of the nuts you'll most likely have to do it using the braille method.

I can't remember which goes where now but it seemed obvious which location needed the shallower headed bolts. Maybe yours are the same?

to long of a bolt in the upper door hinge might contact the glass when closing the door with the window down.
With new channels and rebuilt regulators this may not be an issue.
