If what you say about everything already being posted then I quess that would be the end of this forum. You have already stopped the lines of communication to oldblues post about pulling his head. No one needs a lecture from you even if you do web work. Your postion is not to tell us what we can and can not write. I don't appreciate being told how I'm suppose to act by you. Even many of us old guys don't know where everything is on this site. If it is a money problem with bandwidth then I know most of us will help Peggy with that. Unless some one has violated good behavior then butt out. You have really ruined a great site for me with your high and mighty attitude.

We learn to use words and definations because they were used before and that's how we learn. And some just aren't compooter savvy. I still love this site though.

This site has lots of bells and whistles, and it takes quite a bit of looking around before you get the hang of it. Before you get chased off steaming, remember the old Chinese proverb; Deal with the faults of others as gently as with your own . You can't leave until the rocker arm issue is solved! Stuart

Not sure what went on here but I've got to admit that even when I go to a new place, I get frustrated pretty quickly and either just leave or post someplace that LOOKS good enough.
As you all said, until folks get a good feel for what all is here ... and it's everywhere ... we can cut them some slack. We move some posts through the program, but the program also sends them a note. No harm done. Just a little house-keeping here and there.
The big things is always the pictures. But we have enough folks here who help with trying to keep that under control. If we still weren't in the middle of computer problems, I'd be adjusting more of those myself and keep the hassle out of it.
One thing good from all our computer problems, now my forum window has a spell-checker. Does your's? What this an upgrade to the forum?
I should know these things ...
duhhhhh

I don't want to be at the point where I should be "overly" concerned with answers, questions and comments. I use the search option quite often, but sometimes I would like to get fresh input. Dave's comment is true to a point, but I don't believe it should be the first point of contact on this website. If that's the case, we can use any website on the net.

I wish the search for the forums, tho, allowed you to stop it after a certain point and see the results so far. But even with that, someone new to forums may not know just how to phrase the question. Can you image a search for just "AD trucks" Come back to your computer in about an hour to see the results. We use to feel somewhat perplexed when the same issues kept coming up. But I try to steer people in the direction where they'll find it in the site. And that's because someone else has done a better job answering the question than I ever could. Peace and Love Bolter Brothers! Peg

But I know we've had it awhile and there have been updates. I don't want to think about anything new / different just yet. But once we get some messes cleaned up, it would be good to get better!! Glenn, When we first met Paul Schmehl (our Stovebolt Geek), he sent me an email that said "Gawd I love Stovebolt." That was sooooooo funny. We wanted to make a t-shirt with that ... but weren't quite sure about it. It still sticks with me. Oh, and that was before Paul "volunteered" to help. Not quite sure what he'd have to say now Peg

I enjoy the forum, sometimes can find the info I need in a search, sometimes not. In any event, this forum is a terrific resource.

They recently changed & I think for the better. They used ultimatebb on their old forum. The URL is: http://vccachat.org/forum/ubbthreads.php
