Smart looking rig there, Johnny. Welcome to the site. If that thing drives as good as it looks, you're good to go.

Thanks all....Ive been in drag racing all my life, and just couldnt spend another cent on doing it. I just got the truck about 3 weeks ago and Im getting more pleasure from the ol gal than I did with the race car. My plans are;
1) fix the bump steer..lowering did that
2) fix the rot on the cab corners
3) modifying a bed to fit, and widening some fenders to cover the daullies.
4) driving her all around town with my daughter

Welcome to the Stovebolt. Nice looking and intersting project. Oh, my daughter helped me on my 37 and is still in love with it. Told me I better not ever die but if I did the truck was hers!!

Keep us posted. We love pics to.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
