Here are a few pictures of it. 1966 & b&m combination primered modified shifter Hope this helps. 1951 3100 Chevrolet1951 Chevrolet Suburban CarryallImage"A house is built with boards and beams. Way to go - another way to skin the cat. Question: did you look at other options on the short throw shifter, Hurst, etc? If so what was the motivating factor for B&M? Anybody have any ideas on other applications with long shifters and short throw kits, i.e Jeep T-5's etc. Brett

I'm curious on you short throw shifter: If you measure with a tape measure up on the shift knob, what's the total distance between 1st and 2nd? Thanks, john.

At the very tip of the knob it travels 7 1/2". Keep in mind i altered the shifter handle.I wonder what the travel would be with the original shifter and the handle i made ?
You have one beautiful truck there !!! 1951 3100 Chevrolet1951 Chevrolet Suburban CarryallImage"A house is built with boards and beams. A home is built with love and dreams." "Look deep before you leap !!!" / "Everything is Everything" "If I say a mouse can pull a house, hitch him up"

On my t-5 install: I bent the bottom portion so it wouldn't hit the seat and screwed the s-10 stick shifter back on. I have 8" of travel from 1st to 2nd up on top at the knob.
