I plan to run both on a dual carb set up I have been working on. Does anybody have a pictures of a oil bath converted to paper or any experience with running oil bath air cleaners on engine not designed for them?
I don't think it will be a problem if I use a little lighter oil then recommended since each will have less air pulled threw them.
What do you think?

Thats what I was thinking but just couldn't picture it.

I did not do the conversion on the air cleaners. I bought them converted/painted with element from Tom Langdon (Stovebolt Engine Company) at a good price (made to fit Carter-Weber carbs).

I took an old oil bath air cleaner, pulled out the guts, and cut off most of the outer flange. This outer flange was visible from the outside just so it looked like the original oil bath.
I took the whole thing to Autozone and fitted it with a paper filter. I am sorry but the air cleaner went with the truck when I sold it. I don't know the filter number.
You may be able to do this and find the right filter. If this is what you are thinking.

These are Studebaker Filters, or at least came on them. United Filter Company made them so the filters listed above probably won't fit if they are in A/C built housings.
