For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 4 | Hi all, just picked up my first non-race car project vehical. Sold to me as a '46 1 1/2 ton, but after taking it home and looking up the body number, seems to be a '46 2 ton.
I'll add some pictures in the next few days.
I currently also just purchased my first home, so I wont be doing much work on this truck for a month or two. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 38 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 38 | Welcome! This is a great place to be with these old trucks. You'll find company in the Big Bolt forum with guys that have similar trucks and can tell you where to find most of what you will need as well as offer moral support!! Once you get it cleaned up your "vision" will become clearer as to just what you want to do with it. In fact a lot of guys swear that if we will just listen it will reveal its personality to you Looks like a worthy project. Keep us posted as you go along. There is not time frame on these trucks and very few are every "finished". | | |
