I know it is unavoidable, but is there a way to repair this? If not, then my vent window glass needs to be replaced. Is it hard to remove the vent window glass? (not complete frame assembly)

Fill the glass frame with Black ADHESIVE silicone. Cut the tube so it will put out a big enough line to fill the vent window frame. Then slide in the new glass, close window and pull the glass back a little so its a tight fit, then lock the window in place until the next day. Then trim off the excess and see what a good job you have done.
Don't even try to mess with the black mess until after its dried or you will have a mess. It will Scrape off the glass easy. | | |
