I bought a lock knob for the drivers door on my 46 half ton (the original was missing), But now I can't figure how it mounts. There is no 1/4" square post and any locking bolt also seems to be missing. Is there a place I can find a drawing or exploded diagram of the latch/lock on this?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Wayne

Wayne, I'd try the online manuals. Heres the link.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

I looked there last night but I found nothing that showed the lock on the inside of the drivers door.

There should be a square shaft that inner Knob bolts to. It operates a lever that, when turned horizontal, blocks the exterior handle. Hopefully the photos in the link make this clear.

46sask THANKS! The pictures show what I need, I'm even wondering if the parts are laying inside the lock itself, I'll have to take it apart to check.
Thanks again
