I guess every forum has one. For your information 53 money pit. I looked in the search, and was unable to locate the information I was wanting. Since this topic has been brought up so much maybe you can answer it?

Don't understand your post. I don't know a lot but it's likely someone here can answer your question. But first please tell us what that is. Thanks.

I think maybe the thread name WAS the question. . .and the answer is "Yes, a '53 is a money pit. A deep, deep pit full of despair and longing that eventually, with the help of these guys at Stovebolt, and much perspiration and elbow grease, we can all climb out of. Maybe."

At first I thought it was directed at you 53moneypit. I started looking at other posts trying to figure out what you did to the poor guy.

He most likely saw your name (53 money pit) as the moderator of this forum and is addressing you?

The first and second replies seem quite reasonable.

I'm with FGT, I thought he was ripping you 53moneypit and I didn't get it. I can't answer if a 53 is a money pit, I can promise you a 52 is. Plus so far the only way out of the pit that I see is to stack up lots and lots of dollar bills to climb on!LOL

Not dollars Jimmie, just keep packing the RECEIPTS down in th well until your finally able to step out of the pit... which MIGHT be about the time you finish it up!!

I was wondering about the post to guys but I think I understand it better now. Patience did pay off for me instead of jumping to conclusions smile

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Alvin, you are quite right. After all the cash I have put into the old girl, the truck the truck not my wife. I can see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. I agree, tjacques post seemed hostile. I guess that is part of the written word. No inflections or subtilities that a voice carries. I know I will wright someting in a playfull, joking manner, go back and look at the post, and think man that could be taken in a manner I didn't intend.
